Producers are looking for a 10- to 14-year-old girl for the lead role, who is 10 in the play. They are also looking for a 10- to 14-year-old boy who will play a 10-year-old. • SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, a song and dance revue, on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 7-9 p.m. for singers, and Feb. 2, 10 a.m.-noon for dancers, at the SCERA Center, 745 S. State, Orem. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 16 measures of a song (a '50s or '60s-era song is recommended but not required). An accompanist or boom box will be provided. Some from singers will be asked to attend the dance auditions, but non-singers may also try out for some dancing-only roles. The play will run Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays April 11-26.
