FARMINGTON — The Back Country Horsemen of Utah will hold a trail riding information clinic Saturday.

The event is designed to provide information to the horse and mule owners of Utah concerning trail riding opportunities and overnight stabling throughout the state, as well as educational training in the proper use of horses and mules on Utah's trails.

The clinic is free to the public and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Davis County Legacy Center at 151 S. 1100 West.

Clinic topics include trailer safety, brand registrations and travel requirements, useful knots, trail riding etiquette, horse health and first aid and how to leave no trace when in the back country.
