Voting in the presidential primary is under way in Salt Lake County.
Avoid the long lines on Feb. 5 by voting at one of 12 early voting locations scattered across the county.
Early voting is open every weekday from now until Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Salt Lake County Clerk's Office at 2100 S. State.
The 11 other early voting locations can be found at www.clerk.slco.org or by calling 468-3427.
"Voters do not need an excuse to utilize these convenient voting methods," Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen said.
Also, check the mailbox this week. The clerk's office is mailing out official notices that list your polling location.
