Police believe a pair of men are likely to blame for two robberies Thursday night.
Just after 10 p.m., two men wearing dark clothes and black beanies walked into the Italian Village near 5300 S. 900 East and demanded money, said Murray Police Sgt. Paul Christiansen. One of the men had a gun, he said.
The men took an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register and left on foot.
Christiansen said the men matched the description of two men wanted for robbing a South Salt Lake restaurant near 300 E. 3300 South earlier in the night.
Two men entered the back door of Big Daddy's Pizza with a handgun and took money from the register at about 9:30 p.m., South Salt Lake Police Lt. Dwayne Ruth said.
