Salt Lake City police have arrested five men in connection with a series of parking lot car burglaries during Utah Jazz games.
The burglaries happened over a pair of days on 400 West. On Thursday night, police said officers spotted two men looking into vehicles. When officers began to approach the parking lot, a man in a dark van alerted the others before fleeing.
Officers later tracked down the van at a home on Dorchester Drive, where they found two other cars loaded with stolen electronics, police said. Inside the apartment, police found more stolen merchandise. The five were booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on investigation of burglary and theft.
