• Michael B. Thompson, Arne Jacobsen and Michael Hamling have been named to positions at Mediapoint Entertainment. Thompson has been named chief operating officer, Jacobsen has been appointed vice president of sales and Hamling is now the company's manager of software development Thompson previously was chief executive officer, president and vice president of development at an industrial automation company and his career began in 1976. As COO, Thompson will manage all operations, including research and development, software product development, quality assurance, help desk, information technology and product deployment. Jacobsen has a 30-year career as a sales executive and corporate leader at several organizations. Hamling will manage a team of eight software developers to build a range of applications supporting the company's digital content delivery systems and will be responsible for establishing software development processes. He has more than 15 years of experience in the software industry
• Hong Li, Rodd Steuart and Mike McClellan have joined Agel Enterprises. Li was hired as the company's manager for the Southeast Asia market, helping manage operations in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Prior to Agel, Li was the regional manager of the Southeast Asia market for another company. Steuart is Agel's new finance director and will oversee all aspects of international finance for the company. Prior to Agel, Steuart was the director of technological accounting at a high-tech company. McClellan is Agel's new managing director of supply chain and will manage logistics, warehousing and purchase planning for the company. McClellan brings more than 20 years of experience in supply-chain management to Agel.
