Saturday on TV

NFL playoffs: Seahawks at Packers (2:30 p.m., Ch. 13); Jaguars at Patriots (6 p.m., Ch. 2)

Titanic (5 p.m., TNT): OK, I admit I enjoyed this movie back when it hit theaters in 1997. But a decade later, isn't it just astonishing that this thing won a best-picture Oscar? (R)

College basketball: Colorado State at BYU (4 p.m., The mtn.); New Mexico State at Utah State (7 p.m., FSN)

NBA (7 p.m., Ch. 14): Magic at Jazz

Queen Sized (7 p.m., Lifetime): Nikki Blonsky, who was nothing short of fantastic as the lead in the movie musical "Hairspray," stars in this made-for-TV movie. She plays a teen who's nominated for homecoming queen as a joke but gains support as the candidate for the unpopular crowd.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (7 and 11 p.m., Sci Fi): Basic cable premiere of this 2005 cult favorite.

Sunday on TV

NFL playoffs: Chargers at Colts (11 a.m., Ch. 2); Giants at Cowboys (2:30 p.m., Ch. 13)

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Debut of this series that pretty much picks up where "Terminator 2" left off. It's a promising start to a show that's worth checking out.

Life Is Wild (7 p.m., Ch. 30): Katie volunteers with a group that helps HIV-positive teenagers.

Masterpiece (8 p.m., Ch. 7): An adaptation of Jane Austen's "Persuasion."

Brothers & Sisters (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Rebecca's connection with David raises some questions about her mother's past.
