A new poll indicates that New Hampshire residents favor John McCain over Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee for president. Thirty-three percent said they would vote for McCain, while 27 percent picked Romney. New Hampshire residents voting in the Democratic primary were split between nominees Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who each were chosen by 33 percent of those polled. The poll was conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center for CNN on Jan. 4, 5 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
