WEST VALLEY CITY A pair of armed men robbed a bakery near 4600 South and 4000 West on Sunday.
Police said the two men threatened a clerk with a gun and a knife and demanded the money in the cash register. The clerk gave the men an undisclosed amount of cash, West Valley Police Lt. Lamonte Cox said.
The robbers were described as Hispanic men, he said. One was tall, thin and wore a ski mask. The other was stocky with short, dark hair.
Witnesses said the two men left the store in a dark Volkswagen Jetta with a stripe on the side. Officers located the car and were interviewing two people late Sunday night, but Cox said the men were not considered suspects at that time.
