Jazz guard Ronnie Price will not play tonight against Indiana because of a sprained ankle.

With Price out, and usual starting small forward Andrei Kirilenko (lower back inflammation) also out tonight, the Jazz recalled rookie Morris Almond from the NBA Development League's Utah Flash,

Price injured his left ankle during practice Monday, and thought he was going to be okay, but by Tuesday morning, the ankle joint had swelled considerably. Price did not take part in Tuesday's shootaround and instead was seen wearing a walking boot. He is being listed as day-to-day.

The Utah Valley State product has played both sparingly (19 games) and sporadically at point guard and shooting guard since joining the Jazz last summer. He did log four minutes Saturday in Utah's loss at Portland.

Kirilenko's condition was said to be improving, but his status for Thursday night's TNT-televised game against Phoenix remains uncertain.

Almond, a first-round pick from Rice University, has averaged 29.8 points in 10 starts since being assigned to the Flash on Dec. 6. He is scoreless so far in the NBA.
