Better BioDiesel Inc. based in Spanish Fork said Friday it has agreed to acquire GeoAlgae Technologies Inc., a Wyoming company.
According to a December filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, GeoAlgae will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Better BioDiesel, in exchange for 3.3 million shares of Better BioDiesel's common stock and Better BioDiesel's commitment to make 6.7 million shares available as additional compensation.
GeoAlgae is developing proprietary technology that its management believes will enable the production of biodiesel fuel on a commercial scale using green algae as feed stock, according to the filing.
