No. 1 on the list is Taos, followed by Mary Jane and Telluride in Colorado, then Sun Valley and Steamboat Springs, also in Colordado.
Hemispheres Magazine listed its Top 10 runs in North America and Alta's "Alf's High Rustler" was No. 6.
On its list, starting at No. 1, is "Nose Dive" at Stowe, "Warm Springs" at Sun Valley, "Riva Ridge" at Vail, "KT-22" at Squaw Valley, "Ruthie's Run" at Aspen," then Alf's run, followed by "Big Bum" at Snowmass, "Al's Run," at Taos, "North Bowl Run" at Big Mountain, Mont., and "Paradise Bowl" at Lake Louise, Alberta.
And the list of goes on, with writers giving accolades to other runs like "Great Scott" at Snowbird and the Olympic downhill course at Snobasin, slalom course at Deer Valley and the giant slalom course at Park City Mountain Resort.
In the series, an attempt will be made to try and identify the most popular runs.
The series opens with the list of runs from Snowbird. Next week, the list of top runs will come from Deer Valley.
