Autoliv's plant in Tremonton has been selected as one of North America's Top Ten Best Plants by IndustryWeek.
The facility produces initiators for airbag and seatbelt applications. The Autoliv plant was selected from among 165 facilities for demonstrating world-class manufacturing capabilities and a management mindset of continuous improvement.
The Autoliv plant will receive its award at a ceremony in January, at the site in Tremonton. Autoliv has about 3,600 workers at six plants in northern Utah, including about 300 workers at the Tremonton plant.
