The Employers Council will host a seminar on "Managing A Multicultural Workforce" on Thursday, January 17.
The event will feature guest presenters and council members who will discuss Utah's changing cultural landscape and its implications for employers. The speakers also will talk about business reasons to have a multicultural workforce, key cultural differences and how they impact the workplace, workplace barriers for multicultural employees and techniques and solutions employers can implement to effectively manage a multicultural workforce.
The seminar will be held at the Red Lion Hotel, 161 W. 600 South in Salt Lake City, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. For more information, go online to www.ecutah.org, or call 801-364-8479.
