Power plant won't aid Utahns

First it was exporting Utah water by wire. Now it is exporting Utah wind by wire. All of the electric power generated from the recently announced new wind farm near Milford will be exported to California via wire transmission lines. The previously announced nuclear power plant in Grand County will use Utah water for cooling its reactors. The electric power produced from this facility will also be marketed to Californians. This is akin to exporting Utah water to the Golden State.

Electric power companies that serve customers in Utah will not benefit from either of these projects
