Officers were called to the school at 2828 Harrison Blvd. about 12:30 a.m. on a burglary alarm. From a bank of surveillance camera monitors, Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley said officers observed a man entering the school and walking to the second floor.

Police called for a pair of dogs to help find the man, who was eventually discovered hiding in a janitorial closet on the second floor.

"They asked him to come out, and he wouldn't," Conley said Friday. "So we sent a dog in."

The man was bitten on his lower leg by the a dog, but police said the man still refused to come out, so an officer went in with a Taser.

"We Tased him to maintain compliance," Conley said.

The 33-year-old man was taken to the Weber County Jail and booked on investigation of burglary, resisting arrest and intoxication. Police said the man had a bottle of vodka with him.
