An auction this week of the assets of JPS Productions, including trailers used during TV and movie productions, raised $1.34 million.
The Lindon-based company had filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and the auction was conducted for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Utah by Erkelens & Olson Auctioneers.
The auction company said real estate in the auction sold for $900,000. The real estate included a 9,150-square-foot warehouse and more than an acre of paved ground. More than 32 trailers, many manufactured and leased for use during TV and movie productions, sold for between $8,000 and $26,000.
More than 200 bidders from seven states registered for the auction.
