Utah defensive coordinator Gary Andersen told the Deseret Morning News he's had "no face-to-face contact" with any other program concerning coaching vacancies. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer listed Andersen on a "defensive coordinator wish list" at the University of Washington, while Internet reports have linked Andersen to the defensive coordinator post at Louisville.
Andersen, who declined specific comment on the jobs, said his focus is on Utah's upcoming game against Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl.
