PARK CITY A man led police on a chase through Parley's Canyon overnight that ended in a crash and the suspect being Tasered.
The Utah Highway Patrol said the chase began around 10:30 p.m. Thursday when Summit County Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop the man on Interstate 80. Around 1300 East in Salt Lake City, a UHP trooper threw down some tire spikes.
"The guy lost control and glanced off the wall but kept going," UHP Trooper Cameron Roden said.
The man eventually was stopped near State Street. While being arrested, the UHP said, the man was not being cooperative, and a Summit County Sheriff's deputy had to use a Taser to get the man into custody. He was taken to a hospital and then booked into jail.
