Now I know why I never watch "The McLaughlin Group" on KUED. I find Lawrence O'Donnell ill-informed and bigoted. Anyone who would call The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints "racist and ridiculous" and "based on the work of a lying, fraudulent criminal named Joseph Smith," as did O'Donnell, is not worthy of the attention given him. That kind of speech would probably be prohibited if Congress had passed hate-crimes legislation.
Maybe O'Donnell should be fired as Don Imus was for his lack of civility and cultural shock treatment inflicted upon members of the LDS Church.
