Jacob Mut Bolith, the man charged with raping an elderly woman in a care center, is scheduled for a jury trial April 1-2 in 3rd District Court.
Bolith, 31, is charged with first-degree felony rape, second-degree felony forcible sex abuse, and class A misdemeanor lewdness. Bolith was a certified nurse's aide (CNA) who worked at St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City despite having had his CNA license removed only a short time before the alleged July 1 attack on an 85-year-old patient. Since his arrest, there have been other allegations of inappropriate behavior.
He currently is being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on $250,000 bail.
