SOUTH SALT LAKE Police are looking for two men who robbed a Phillips 66 convenience store clerk at gunpoint Monday.
According to police, two men entered the store, at 315 E. 3900 South, at about 1 p.m.
Surveillance video shows a man wearing a black hoodie with a black knit cap and knit gloves acting as a lookout while the second man, wearing a gray hoodie, black knit cap and red knit gloves, gets ready to make a purchase at the register. The man at the register then pulls a small, black handgun from under his sweatshirt and demands cash.
The female clerk is shown emptying the cash onto the counter and then ducking underneath the cash register while the two men leave the store. A female customer who was in the store during the robbery comes to the clerk's aid.
The men fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
Both men are described as Hispanic, 5-foot-1, 150 pounds, medium build. Anyone with information is asked to call police dispatch at 801-840-4000.
