The Mormon Tabernacle Choirs latest CD, which has spent the last five weeks in the number one position on the Billboard Classical Album list, has been nominated for two Grammy awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. "Spirit of the Season," a collection of songs from the Choirs 2006 Christmas concert featuring Norwegian recording artist Sissel and the Orchestra at Temple Square, is nominated for the Best Classical Crossover Album of the Year, as well as Best Engineered Classical Album.
