Extensive New York Times look at why American Christians are mistrustful of Latter-day Saints generally, and Mitt Romney specifically. Subtitled, "Fear and Faith," the story quotes a Florida evangelist saying that Romney's candidacy alone has been a long infomercial for the Mormon cult. As president hes going to carry the influence of that office, not just here but worldwide, and theres no denying its going to lead people to check out that religion, which according to biblical Christianity, will lead them ultimately to hell. According to Richard J. Mouw, president of the Fuller Theological Seminary, there will always be a segment of evangelical Christianity that doesnt trust anything Mormons say. They dont even trust it when the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sings Silent Night. To read the entire story from the Times Web site please click here.
