The Park City Performing Arts Foundation commissioned artist John Helton to create original art for the 10-year anniversary of the Eccles Center. Helton's image is of the Eccles dancers and will be used by the foundation for years to come.

The Intermountain Society of Artists will meet Tuesday evening at 6:30 at Historic Wheeler Farm, 6351 S. 900 East. The meeting will include dinner and a musical program. New society officers for 2008 will be announced at the event. Non-members may attend: a suggested fee of $5 to cover dinner is requested. For more information, visit www.isaritists.org

Brent Godfrey of Salt Lake will be exhibiting his painting, "Stranger in a Strange Land," in this year's Florence Biennale. Now in its fifth year, the exhibit draws artists from around the world.

Repartee Gallery will host children's book illustrator Scott Gustafson at two gallery locations: University Mall, Orem, Friday 6-9 p.m.; and Saturday, 1-4 p.m., at the Bountiful gallery at 175 N. 500 West. For more information, call 224-5508 or 362-1595.
