Salt Lake Community College plans to close its Draper location upon the completion of the current semester.
The Draper center, located in the former Draper City Hall building at 12441 S. 900 East, will remain open during regular hours through fall semester finals, which end Dec. 13. The center also will be open for business purposes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 17-20.
Courses scheduled at the center for the upcoming spring semester will be moved to other SLCC sites, including the Sandy, Miller and Jordan campuses.
Students enrolled in classes at the Draper center will be contacted this week and given assistance in identifying and registering for classes at other SLCC locations.
SLCC has 14 sites throughout the Salt Lake Valley and Tooele. Draper students and residents are encouraged to visit www.slcc.edu or call 801-957-SLCC for more information.
