WEST VALLEY CITY The Utah Cultural Celebration Center has announced three free concerts as part of a winter Christmas celebration series.
The concerts will take place at 7 p.m. Monday and on Dec. 17 and 19 in the Cultural Center, 1355 W. 3100 South in West Valley City.
Miss Margene's Musical Theater Singers, a group of more than 60, will perform Monday. The group is made up of young adults and children who travel around the country singing and dancing.
On Dec. 17, the Beehive Statesmen barbershop group, which formed in 1948, will sing a special Christmas-edition concert at the center.
Bonnie Harris and Friends will complete the concert series on Dec. 19 with a sampling of some of the music that made Harris a finalist for the 2000 Pearl Award Album of the Year. This year's concert series marks the 10th year Harris will perform for West Valley City.
