Both Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur took part in the Jazz's morning shootaround Monday, and afterward said they intend to play in tonight's game against the Miami Heat.
"It was good to be out there," said Boozer, who did not play in Friday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers because of a sprained right ankle sustained last Wednesday at Philadelphia. "The ankle feels terrific ... terrific for having a sprained ankle," he said.
Okur said his bad back was only about "80-85 percent," but he planned to play tonight anyway.
"I'll be out there." said Okur, who also sat out the win over the Lakers because of muscle spasms.
Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said Monday that with those two returning, plans for rookie center Kyryll Fesenko were uncertain. With Boozer and Okur absent Friday, Fesenko made his NBA debut against the Lakers.
The Jazz's options now include returning the 7-foot-1 Ukrainian to their Utah Flash D-League affiliate, making him inactive tonight, or dressing him as an extra big body to use against Shaquille O'Neal and the Heat.
