I read the column by Chris Hicks about Robert Redford in Friday's Weekend section with degrees of irritation, anger and amusement. Redford has managed to live in his mansion on the hill for many years and has made many negative comments about Mormons. He is stuck in a box of his own making.
He reminds me of a family dog we had for 18 years. We got the dog from the pound when she was a cute little pup. We loved her and took care of her. She was our pet. In her 18th year, she began growling and snapping. She tried to bite us when we fed her. The vet said she was demented and told us, "She will not get better. She needs to be put down."
