The Jazz on Thursday said both starting power forward Carlos Boozer and starting center Mehmet Okur will be "game-time decisions" for their ESPN-televised meeting Friday night with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Boozer sprained his right ankle late in the second half of Utah's win at Philadelphia on Wednesday night, but returned after halftime to finish with seven rebounds and a game-high 26 points.
Boozer, the Jazz's leading scorer and rebounder this season, underwent X-rays on the ankle upon the team's return to Utah on Thursday. Results of the X-rays were negative, a team spokesman said Thursday afternoon.
Okur exited the game at Philly due to back spasms. He later returned to the Jazz bench, but did not re-enter the game after he did.
Okur underwent both treatment and an exam on the back Thursday in Utah, but results of the testing were not immediately available.
The Jazz's sold-out game against the Lakers at EnergySolutions Arena is an 8:30 start because of ESPN coverage.
