Mitt lacks friend in corner

I read the article, "Mitt needs to make JFK-style church speech, Hatch says" (Nov 27). When JFK addressed the Greater Houston Ministerial Association in 1960, he also enlisted the aid of Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr., the son of FDR, who — in another venue — asked Kennedy tough questions about Catholicism. This eased minds of people everywhere — including West Virginia. Kennedy won there and subsequently won the general election.

Romney needs to do a similar type speech, but he may not have a "friend in his corner" who can engage him in a tough sparring match to change people's minds.
