'Kidnapped bride' Timeline

Aug. 4, 2006 — Lemuel and Julia Redd tell their daughter, Julianna, they are taking her on a pre-wedding shopping trip but instead drive her 200 miles to Grand Junction, Colo., forcing her to miss her Aug. 5, 2006, wedding.

Aug. 8 — Three days after the Redds return to Provo with their daughter, Julianna Redd and Perry Myers marry in the Salt Lake Temple. The Redds are not present.

• Sept. 28 — The Utah County Attorney's Office files felony kidnapping charges against Lemuel and Julia Redd.

Dec. 6 — During a preliminary hearing, Julianna Myers testifies that on the ride to Colorado, her parents told her she was a disobedient daughter and that Perry Myers was evil. Julianna Myers also said she hoped her mom would get mental help

Nov. 26, 2007 — Final details and motions are discussed as attorneys prepare for the Dec. 3 trial.

Nov. 28 — The Redds agree to plead guilty to one class A misdemeanor each of custodial interference.
