More than $100,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from a Salt Lake County Mac store early Wednesday.
Surveillance video at Simply Mac, 1380 E. Ft. Union Blvd., showed just after 4 a.m. a man breaking through the glass front doors of the store and then lifting the security gate behind it.
"He forced it off the track and lifted it up," said Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Paul Jaroscak.
The man took about 50 lap tops, iPods and iPhones, Jaroscak said.
Some items were taken from the show room. Most of the merchandise was taken from a backroom, he said.
Detectives were trying to determine Wednesday if more than one person was involved.
Anyone with information can call the sheriff's office at 743-7000.
