NEPHI — A second man has died as a result of Tuesday's crash on Interstate 15 near here.
The Utah Highway Patrol said Omar C. Barajas, 20, of Salinas, Calif., succumbed to his injuries late Tuesday night at Central Valley Hospital.
Troopers said Barajas and 19-year-old Aaron C. Duran, also of Salinas, Calif., died when the SUV they were in rolled several times on the freeway. There were four people in the car, and troopers said no one was wearing a seat belt.
Troopers believe the driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the crash.
