SNOWVILLE, Box Elder County — A woman was killed and four others were injured when their SUV flipped on I-84.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the SUV was traveling eastbound on I-84 near Snowville about 11 p.m. Sunday, when the vehicle veered to avoid a deer.

"The driver lost control of his vehicle, and the vehicle rolled three times, landing on its roof in the median," UHP trooper Cameron Roden said Monday. "While the vehicle was rolling, the front-seat passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and killed instantly."

That passenger was identified as 22-year-old Ashley Dawn Hansen of Washington. The other four were taken to Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton to be treated for their injuries.
