Utah firm a finalist in publicity contest

PilmerPR has been named a finalist in the prestigious Golden Spike Award for excellence in Publicity and Media Relations Tactics. The award, recognizing excellence among Utah's public relations and corporate communications professionals was announced at a ceremony held this week at the Wells Fargo Bank building.

PilmerPR was named a Golden Spike Award finalist for their work with Certiport, a Utah-based company that prepares individuals worldwide with current and relevant digital skills and credentials for the competitive global work force. PilmerPR successfully promoted Certiport's PATHWAYS Conference, resulting in 10 major media hits reaching more than 10 million readers.

The announcement came as PilmerPR began celebrating its four-year anniversary. Since it was founded in 2003, the firm has received multiple awards. This is the first time the company has won a Golden Spike Award.
