VOLLEYBALL: Utah State volleyball coach Grayson DuBose announced the signing of Emily Kortsen and Liz McArthur to national letters of intent to compete for the Aggies beginning in the fall 2008.
Kortsen is a 6-1 right-side hitter from San Bentio High in Hollister, Calif. Kortsen earned first-team all-central coast section honors and has been named the Most Valuable Player of the Tri-County League in each of the last three seasons.
McArthur, a 6-0 outside hitter at Snow Canyon High in St. George, led Snow Canyon to the 4A state championship as she was named tourney MVP of the tournament.
