The Utah State Bar recently presented five awards in recognition of contributions made to the public and the legal profession.
The Professionalism Award was presented to Francis J. Carney, whose practice focused on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation for 28 years, but he now limits his practice to mediation and arbitration.
The Distinguished Service Award was presented to David R. Hall, who has practiced at Parsons Behle & Latimer since graduating from the University of Utah College of Law.
The Distinguished Pro Bono Lawyers of the Year Award went to Kelly J. Latimer, Christina L. Micken and Matthews D. Wride.
