Weather trackers also might want to get a Honeywell Emergency Alert Weather Station (www.honeywellweatherstations.com) from Hideki Electronics. Three models are available, broadcasting up to 62 different warnings to alert users of potential or occurring weather hazards such as icy conditions and tornado warnings. The units also keep time and monitor temperature, humidity and other conditions. The TN924 ($349.99) offers conditions, forecasting, atomic time and up to eight wireless indoor and outdoor sensors with a range up to 300 feet. That lets a person know the temperature in, for example, a baby nursery, an in-law's apartment, the attic or garage simultaneously.
Photo mousepads have been around for a few years, but Saitek is offering a device for people who can't keep their hands off their favorite pictures. The Photo Mouse ($19.95, www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/photomouse.htm) lets users put their favorite picture inside that computer accessory. It's simple to use just print and trim a photo using the included template and secure it inside the mouse cover and the photo is illuminated by a small internal light when the mouse is plugged into a computer.
