PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY, 300 S. 1400 East, on Dec. 7, noon-5 p.m., for Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," being directed by Paul Barnes and scheduled to play Feb. 15-March 1, 2008.
The roles of Theseus/Oberon, Hermia, Puck and Nick Bottom have been cast. All other roles are available for men and women, 18 years of age and older. Equity-only auditions will be noon-1 p.m., and non-Equity players may audition from 1-5 p.m. All auditions will be in Room 325 of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Equity actors may sign up for any available time slot if they are unable to make the scheduled slots.
All auditioners must sign up for an audition time on the callboard, to be posted inside Room 325 by noon on Nov. 30. Auditioners must be familiar with the script, available for overnight checkout from the PTC business office beginning Nov. 30. Audition sides (excerpts) will be available at the same time.
A current resume and photograph are recommended, but not required. Rehearsals will be Jan. 31-Feb. 14 (www.pioneertheatre.org).
