Timpview proved why its been the most dominant team in the state all year with a convincing 50-7 victory, the most lopsided state title game since 1919 when East beat Payson 79-0.
Timpview jumped out to a 19-0 first-quarter lead and eventually built the cushion to 50-0 before Pine View scored its only touchdown in the final minute.
The T-Birds, who've won three of the past four state championships, racked 611 yards of total offense to just 151 yards for Pine View.
Timpview's Jerome Patterson and Levi Te'o combined to rush for 287 yards and four touchdowns.
Pine View's Nick Marinko struggled all game against Timpview's stout defense completed just 3-of-16 passes for 21 yards and four touchdowns.
The Panthers have now lost three of the past four state championship games, with the previous two coming in 3A.

Postgame recap: Behind its strong and powerful defense, the Alta Hawks took care of business against Layton to become state champs for the first time since 1988.
Layton's LeVaughn Jackson returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, but Alta didn't allow the Lancers to score another point throughout the rest of the contest.
The Hawks held Layton to just 153 yards of total offense and recorded four sacks -- two by Boo Anderson.
