The 120 Eastern and Western players on the ballot were selected by a panel of media members including ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher, Pro Basketball Writers Association president Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, USA Today's David DuPree, TNT's Ernie Johnson, Sports Illustrated's Jack McCallum, Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News and the Chicago Tribune's Sam Smith.

Boozer and Okur both were first-time All-Star Game picks last season, Boozer as a Western reserve and Okur as a injury-replacement player. Boozer was hurt and did not play in the game at Las Vegas; Okur had four points and two rebounds in 15 minutes.

Kirilenko played in the 2004 NBA All-Star Game but has not been back since.

Williams still is seeking his first All-Star Game appearance.

Others with ties to the Jazz or the state of Utah listed on this year's ballot include ex-Jazz guards Mo Williams of Milwaukee and Raja Bell of Phoenix, and University of Utah products Andre Miller of Philadelphia and Andrew Bogut of Milwaukee.

Bell, incidentally, has missed the Suns' last two games with a sprained right ankle.
