2 hearings scheduled about corridor

The Utah Department of Transportation will hold public hearings about the Mountain View Corridor draft environmental impact statement. They include:

• Today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Willow Creek Middle School in Lehi.
• Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Copper Hills High School in West Jordan.

Public comments will be taken into consideration, but the Federal Highway Administration will decide the placement of the corridor. UDOT has extended the public comment for the Mountain View Corridor until Jan. 24.
