OGDEN — Second District Judge Roger Dutson has ordered a Weber County used car dealer and his son to repay approximately $700,000 to nine people who got cheated in an investment scam.

Scott Lamar Rhoads, 51, pleaded guilty to four counts of securities fraud, all third-degree felonies. His son, Zacharia Lamar Rhoads, 25, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted sales of an unregistered security, a class A misdemeanor.

The judge ordered that both serve four years probation or remain on probation until the payments are made in full.
