PLAY OF THE GAME
Trailing 21-3 with under two minutes in the game, Bingham was all but finished. Just when it looked like a blowout was inevitable, though, Bingham's TJ Ford returned a punt 67 yards to make it 21-10 and swung momentum back to Bingham.
KEY CALL
With less than seven minutes remaining in the game, Alta QB Ryan Rosenvall was picked off on a second down near midfield. The referee called a roughing the passer penalty, however, which negated Colton Yack's pick and great field position for Bingham.
QUOTABLE
"Defense. All game. Defense, defense, defense has been our forte all year long. Our defense has carried us." Les Hamilton, Alta head coach
