PLAYER OF THE GAME
PLAY OF THE GAME
Leading 28-6 midway through the second quarter, Judge was already in control of the game. But the Bulldogs iced it when Jordan Benson returned an interception 59 yards for a touchdown putting his team ahead 35-6.
KEY CALL
Judge quarterback Joe Pond's awareness to pitch the ball to Bruce Garlinghouse early in the game turned out to be huge. Garlinghouse only had eight carries but he finished with 126 yards and three touchdowns in a dominant performance.
QUOTABLE
"Jordan ... doesn't get publicity, but he's been a shutdown guy all year long. They threw it at him and he picked it." James Cordova, Judge head coach on Jordan Benson's interception
