EPHRAIM — Snow College will inaugurate Scott L. Wyatt as its 15th president in a four-day celebration running tonight through Saturday.

Special events begin tonight with an appearance by "America's Got Talent" winner Terry Fator, a ventriloquist, comedian and singer, at 7 p.m. at the Horne Activity Center. It will be Fator's first appearance on a college campus.

On Thursday, the college will showcase its relationship with the Juilliard School of Music with a jazz concert featuring Carl Allen of the Juilliard faculty on drums and Scott Wilson, director of jazz studies at Snow, on trumpet and piano. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts.

The inauguration itself will be Friday at 2 p.m., also in the Eccles Center. Jed Pitcher, chairman of the Utah State Board of Regents, is scheduled to preside. Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert is also scheduled to attend.

The event will include talks and videos prepared by Snow faculty and students along with an inaugural address by Wyatt. Following the ceremony, a public reception will be held in the Greenwood Student Center.
