The Downtown Alliance will host its 13th annual Downtown Achievement Awards and annual meeting at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 29 at the Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown, 75 W. Temple.
The awards honor individuals and organizations for extraordinary contributions to downtown Salt Lake City. Honorees in the advocacy categories are Downtown Rising and Squatters. Recipients in the economic development category are The Summit Group, Fidelity Investments, Bennion Jewelers and Mr. Mac. The lifestyle category winners are Discovery Gateway and LDS Business College.
The Downtown Alliance annual report will be presented by members of the Downtown Alliance Board of Trustees. A showcase of downtown projects that are planned or are under construction will also be featured.
