Hector Barreto, chairman of The Latino Coalition and past administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, will speak at several events this week.
His book, "The Engine of America: The Secrets to Small Business Success From Entrepreneurs Who Have Made It," was published last month.
Barreto will speak at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Red Butte Garden Orangerie. At 6:30 p.m., he will speak to an audience of Pete Suazo Business Center Fast Track graduates at the Zions Bank Business Resource Center, 310 S. Main, mezzanine level.
He also will speak at Zions Bank events in Park City, Provo, Ogden, Layton and Boise.
