An advertising campaign featuring unscripted comments from LDS Church converts sharing how the church helped them answer questions about death and the nature of God is being tested in three areas in the United States.
More than 200 interviews were conducted, but only a dozen people were chosen to relate their conversion stories.
The "Truth Restored" commercials are the latest in the church's 30-year missionary outreach effort on broadcast television. Previous campaigns have focused on the importance of family unity.
